British Sprint Triathlon Championships

Recently I attended the National Triathlon sprint championships in Olney near Milton Keynes as one of the official photographers. No football here!

No football here!

A result of always trying to have some sort of camera close to hand, be it a DSLR, compact or even a mobile phone, I found myself taking quite a few photographs while taking the family dogs on walks. One of my usual routes includes sports fields close to my home.  Initially I intended these [...]

Venice: The People and the place

Venice: The People and the place

The historical Italian City of Venice stretches across 117 small islands in the marshy Venetian Lagoon along the Adriatic Sea in northeast Italy. The photographs from my fourth visit to this magical city are not necessarily of all the usual landmarks but  capture the essence of this place.

Exercise 18: How space changes with light

The kitchen Often considered the heart of the home, the kitchen seemed a good subject for the exercise. Not just for cooking but people, be it friends or family, often congregate there  with  a cup of tea/wine and how often does a party seem to end up in the kitchen?
